Also known as I'd like to Take You to the Forest.

I’m thinking of this song as an outlier. It reminds me of an item you have lying around the house that has no particular use and you wonder occasionally if you should polish it up a bit, chuck it out or hand it in to a local charity shop.

Why I can’t be sure but I chose to get it dressed up and polished.

The last time I was looking forward to being in a forest it was to sit in the warmth of Wendy’s café, which at the time was in a small cabin along the Tow Hill Road on Haida Gwaii. Unlike any of the sentiments expressed in the song I was there for a slice of her delicious home made pizza – fresh out of the oven.

Re the image: Wendy also made beautiful bread! I tried to disguise the quality of the photograph by posterising it. It might change if I can locate a better one.
